Multi Reach – Combi Lift

Very common in timber yards, engineering & fabrication manufacturers.

The multi reach truck course is delivered at your site for up to three candidate per course. The course will be between three and five days for novice training, depending on the number of candidates attending the course, and the subject areas covered. Refresher and conversion training are for one day only with up to three candidates per course.

Refresher training is recommended every three years. We can offer ITSSAR Accredited certification, registration and on successful completion of the course your company will be issued with certificates for all candidates.

 

The course will comprise of theoretical and practical instruction covering the following:

Course introduction Health & Safety & relevant legislation Introduction to the truck – mount/dismount Basic steering Advanced steering exercises – chicane Battery care – refueling Pre-use inspection Engineering principles – stability factors Hydraulics Load handling – load/weight assessment – types of loads Relevant safety film Racking systems – bulk stacking Lorry loading/unloading Ramps and inclines Attachments Pre-use inspection test Practical testing Theory test
